"I've painted many images of mothers with their young children," the artist comments, "but never with their dads. Why, I wondered. Apparently I felt, unconsciously, an integral part of the picture as its creator-observer. It's time to give dad his long due recognition. Dads and their relationship with kids are important, too." |
